S1: I got my man right here. You know who he is…Jae Mills the motha fuckin man right now the hottest nigga around on the stage right now ya know what I’m sayin…7th & Collins Live Miami Wassup nigga

Jae: Nuttin man, same ol…same ol…grindin.. Tryin to get this Back to the Future ready for the people..ya know we got streets meltin right now with swiss. We got The Who joint thas’ the real street gutter..ya know, grimy, bring your hoodie, Timbs out. Tryin to finish this joint with Cool and Dre out here right now.

S1: You had done work with someone else out here, right?

Jae: I did a couple joints… I had done a joint with my man Pitbull, shot out to my man Pit. Just grindin I’ve been doin a lot of things shot out to my man DJ Ideal, DJ Irie. All the peoples out here holdin me down man definitely all day everyday. We tryin to get “The Back to the Future” right, ya know, I got the production from Swiss, Ron Grauss, Omen, Scram Jones, Heat Makers, cool cats ya know. I got Cool & Dre, TI, Swizz, Flip Dogg. It’s crazy.

S1: So let me ask you this man, you just recently signed over to Universal… not to make you talk about something you may not want to but were there any major differences between Universal and Warner? You know what I’m sayin…

Jae: Of course there’s a lot of major differences you know when I first went over to Universal Masberg Was still there and he kinda looked out for us coz before I was signed to Warner brothers when I was about 17, I was signed to Motown, signed directly to Motown in the group and that kinda didn’t work out so we went to Warner Bros. But with the Warner Bros and the Universal the difference was kinda like this is the first time that I am coming to the table with a strategy. It’s me, my man Tone, Nige, Sylvia Rone, Tone from trackmasters, Eric Nicks, OJ.

S1: You got all your people getting in to position the way you want and shit…

Jae: No doubt, No doubt…the all star team…we comin’ together with a strategy. It’s not like we wanna drop Streets Meltin and put the album up.. We could’ve done that with No, No, No after that we could’ve put out Back to the Future out… I don’t want you think that it’s still the same album from Warner Bros. I worked man, I got so much fuckin work done. It don’t even make no sense. The whole album is new it ain’t no three year old songs, no talkin about me getting no Bugs Bunny money. That’s old.

S1: Homeboy is battle tested and Legacy approved. Last but not least, I know you’ve been in a couple battles, now that we talkin about battling and shit like that. What if anything did you learn from those battles coz’ thas’ different than battling on the streets.

Jae: Battling showed me how to perform. It taught me how to put on a show in front of people . A lot of times I can battle somebody and there a bunch of people around and I can say a bunch of hot shit that is lyrically nice and it’s crazy. It’s crazy to me coz I’m a lyricist, but to someone like my mother standing there she don’t understand a goddamn thing I’m sayin. But she hear the next nigga say some catchy shit that appeals to her and it’s funny to her. So it’s like a performance…a show…you gotta learn how to grab and hold peoples attention for as long as you speakin, rappin, kickin your verse, you gotta hold niggas attention, chic niggas, Executives, CEOs, producers whatever. You gotta hold their attention, it’s kinda like you on stage, and you got all the chics in the front row and they reaching for you. You got all the dudes over there acting like they don’t wannna move coz they all thugged out and you got everybody that don’t give a fuck they just down for whatever but they following you. So you gotta give them that show and hold their attention so that’s kinda what I learned from battling. Not to stumble, you can’t stumble. That’s one thing I never wanted to do I never wanted to be battling somebody and “ay yo,uh-uh-aight yo- yo-yo” NAH, you look totally whack when you do that. So that’s why I am on point whenever I do what I got to do. That’s what it taught me performance skills and how to put on a show and hold people’s attention.

S1: Last but not least anything else that you would wanna go ahead and tell people watchin us, listenin to us, and reading us right now.

Jae: Definitely you know just look out for “The Back to the Future”, Wanna Blow ENT… I can‘t say it enough, Universal Records I got whatever on ya man, shot out to Sylvia, Tone from Trackmasters, my man Eric Nicks, the whole universal staff holdin me down, my publicist Dove, my man EJ, Tone and Nige, the SWAT team they was wildin’ out, they up next, all my peoples in the MIA, you already know how it’s going down, it’s real, real, real, real serious man. Hip Hop is back…NYC…Back to the Future. I wanna thank y’all for havin me too.

S1: For sure S1 and Jae Mills you know what I’m sayin’ 7th and Collins Live…We’re out!!!!!
