With a slew of guest appearances and 12' records Dave Ghetto debut album has been a long time coming...S1 recently caught up with Ghetto and this is what he had to say about “Love Life”:

S1: Yeah, yeah, yeah...Whats goin on my peoples!!! Yes...Yes...Whats going on!! You know who this is...S1 the muthfuckin man...Today I got my nigga Dave Ghetto...Hey I'm lovin life, how about you baby?

DG: It's all good...It's all good...

S1: Aiight, aiight...And the reason I'm gonna start it off like that is because my niggas droppin an albumand the name is “Love Life”aiight...So talk to us about that...Break that down...What ya hittin us with?

DG: This album is a real soulful album...But at the same time the content at times is gritty, it's revolutionary at times, I'm talking to the children I'm talkin to the older people you what I mean...It's a very emotional album Like na meen I write from emotion so like the place I was in was a very emotional place so...

S1: Aiight thats deep...To be honest thats respectful too...Just turn on the radio and you can tell a lot niggas on the radio ain't doin that shit nowadays so I'm definitely going to give you props for that...I wanted to bring this up this shit up...From Camdem...Right?

DG: Yeah...Whats

S1: Camdem New Jersey yo thats a pretty tough neighborhood down there yo...

DG: Thats what they say...

S1: Alright...I got peeps that live there and shit...What was it like growing up there? Break that down...The battles...Life in general...Like I said thats not an easy neighborhood yo...

DG: Yeah...Well poor is poor everywhere you know what I mean...I came up like everybody else you na meen...We had our hard times but at the same time we made the best of it na meen...Lack of resource builds resilience in a person...It just made me a stronger person...I took everything that I could take from it na meen positiveand negative and I tried to build off of it...They say that its the most dangerous city in the country, me being there and being up in the mix of it, it don't seem that way to me na meen...I could think of much more dangerous places then Camden...But people see it for what they see it for but it's a lot more to it na meen...

S1: Aiight...

DG: Thats what I'm tryin to bring forth...It is a balance na meen everybody is not a knucklehead and ya know some people are knuckleheads they not just knuckleheads for nothing...

S1: People in certain situations do things that ain't always positive...So aiight thats definitely real thats deep...
