Deeca: Heeeeeyyyyyy! wassup, wassup, wassup…
S1: Chillin, chillin…Definitely feeling and having the pleasure of speaking to you today…Now Deeca been doing a lot of work with modeling for a long time…A little bit of a twist cause she doesn’t do any videos, but we’ll talk about that…First off, born in Brooklyn...I just wanted to put that out there, currently residing in Miami…So how did the little modeling thing pop off? How did you get involved?
Deeca: Basically just started off with, my hairdresser wanted me to do a photo shoot for him, he had hired one of my friends to do a photo shoot and she was horrible…I was 16 years old at the time and he was like would wanna do a shoot see how it come out…So I was like that’s cool or whatever and then when I did my shoot my shot came out off the hook…So they end up using my picture like all over the USA and worldwide and from there I continued to hip hop model, did all the fashion shows, did all the hair shows and all the magazines for him and that’s basically how it started…In 1999 I based myself off of Black Planet which is like a big website at the time and built a big fan base and then went onto Yahoo with my own yahoo group and then my own website…Once I had my fan base over there I brought them over to my website…So I’m basically off the internet most of my stuff is internet based…
S1: Alright, alright…Definitely poppin, a businesswoman putting it down, sounds like you got it on smash…But yo listen, on the reals you work for some you know legitimate companies…We got Ms. Guinness’s Stout you rocked that for a minute…HBO, Tangueray…
Deeca: Yeah well we I moved to Florida my first thing was doing promotion and marketing…I was actually Ms. Guinness’s Stout for 2000-2001, I started off just doing promotions for them…I’ve been out there for the longest doing everything so I’m like tired right now, I just wanna take a break…I just want to mentor a lot of kids…
S1: So talk to us…You got a very exotic look, slender, long legs…Describe yourself, because I’m fortunate right now cause I’m looking at you right now and you look great…catz out there can’t see you right now so describe yourself for them…
Deeca: Its so funny…I have a small frame 5’8 140lbs and have 26 inch waist and 40 inch hip…I’m right where them other girls are but their the ones that are getting opportunities…So like I said its time for me to retire and basically just help out the other girls I not trying to be all up in the videos or magazines its whatever…Whatever comes my way I’ll take it and I’m content with that…I keep it tight and make sure my shit is right…
S1: So do you workout?
Deeca: I workout…I don’t diet …I have a bout 5 small meals a day…I work out at least 4 times per week…At least…
S1: What’s your favorite color?
Deeca: Red…
S1: Who is your favorite rapper?
Deeca: I really don’t have one…I’m more into R&B and slow jams….
S1: So who is your favorite r&b artist?
Deeca: Toni Braxton…I’m actually going to see her in concert on June 21st down here on my birthday…So that’ll be fun…
S1: Okay big ups and Happy Birthday…I’m sure your gonna get that day off…Now let me ask you this, what type of guy do you look for?
Deeca: I like a clean cut guy thug guys…It just has to be something about them that I like…

Deeca: You can catch me on Black Beauties that like one of the biggest websites for any kind of model that you are looking for…And I want to give them big ups…I been on Summer Bunnies, Candy Models…
S1: Its definitely been a pleasure, you’re a lovely young lady, businesswoman at that…Sounds like you got it on smash…Sounds like you got everything that you want on your plate and your holding it down…Any words of advice for young models coming into the game…
Deeca: Well you know I tell every model and any model knows. Well they should know this, I mean if any agency comes to you and asks you we want you to be a part of our agency and asks you for a fee…Do you homework you know and ask other models cause if it’s a real agency then there shouldn’t be a fee…No real agency that want you to model for them will charge you a fee…And watch out for photographers get references and ask for their portfolios cause a lot of them are just men with cameras…That’s what I call them…So be careful…
