Mike V's "Unsigned Hype" Donny Goines The Interview

Mike V's "Unsigned Hype"
IF YOU DONT KNOW , NOW YOU KNOW, We stay with our Ears to the Streets. Walk wit us. Its your Man MikeV chillin wit my Legacy Readers, This time around I thought I would locate the hottest unsigned hype in the Game. With that being said. I reached out to none other than The Big Apples (NY) Donny Goines, This man is straight fire, and on the Comeup ,quick, fast and in a hurry, Lace up your boots. Lets Go,......
Mike V.: Talk to us Cuzzo, How has the buzz been out in NY?
Donny Goines: Its all love out here. Doing alot of underground shows, mixtapes,
etc. Hustling hard to help restore the feeling. They say if you can
make it here you can make it anywhere so my focus is New York City
first, and then the world.
MV: Hows the album "The Excerpt, pg1" ?
DG: The response has been overwhelming to say the least. Many people
enjoyed it and many others are getting wind of it everyday. It's truly
a blessing and I want to shout out everyone who had a hand in making
that album.

MV: The Streets embraced your first album w/ open arms? You have the steets in a headlock Fam.
DG: Im trying lol. I have some surprises coming up very soon but lets
just say I got something for the streets coming real soon. Thats where
it all starts, you gotta get hot in your hood first and then branch
out.
MV: Who are some producers youve been working with?
DG: Ive worked with producers such as Disco D (RIP), Dame Grease, Ron
Browz, DJ Static, Apple Juice Kid, Scram Jones, Kwame, Benny Blanco,
Fury, Neek Rusher, Streetrunner, Bangout, and many, many more. There
is also alot of music in the works with some of your favorite
producers out there so stay tuned.
MV: The Hood relates to your music very much, Its real Fucking Talk....?
DG: I try my best to speak to people with candor and honesty. The way I
see it, it doesn't make sense perpetrating the fraud. If you are or
were ever in the streets you can relate to alot of things I say
because thats where i come from and thats what I represent. Im for the
people at the end of the day. Bottomline.

MV: Are they any offers on the table, as far as Record Deals?
DG: Alot of people are interested and we talking. Im more focused on
the independent grind right now tho. I wont accept just anything, the
situation has to be right on many angles. Well see what happens tho.
Keep ya ears to the streets.
MV: Who really inspired you the most in the hiphop game. ?
DG: Overall, the people. Many different artists, producers, and
businessmen inspired me throughout my entire career but the ones who
have had the most impact are the people. They inspire me to keep
going, they drive me to make better music and they are the ones I am
trying to impress. Not the A&R's, Records Labels, etc. Aslong as the
people enjoy what Im doing i will continue to be inspired.
MV: Where do you think the state of Hip Hop is ?
DG: Its fucken horrible lol. Too many uncreative, cookie cut, simple
ass rappers out there. They really fucked up the game and made Hip Hop
as a whole look bad. I really think its in a bad state but I also feel
the the music is taking another turn for the better. It will just take
time.
MV: Its really been a long time coming, youve been patient and on the grind. Any words of advise for the up and coming artists?
DG: Stay hungry, stay humble and most of all sty inspired. Once you
lost those there characteristics, you mine aswell throw in the towel.
Much love to Mike V, LegacyMag and everyone who is reading this.
Holla at me.
MV: Happy Holidays to you and Yours.
Tobacco Y Rum.......
