The Jake one Interview Representing the Northwest city of Seattle comes Jake One one of the hottest producers in the game. With a catalog that inlcudes joints for 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes and De La Soul Jake One is one of the most sought after beatmakers in hip hop. S1 recently caught up with Jake and this is what he had to say:

S1: Yeah, yeah, yeah...Whats going on my niggas...You know who this is, its the muthafucking man S1...Legacy Magazine, Legacy Radio and www.legacymag.net and today man I got a special guest...I got my nigga Jake One chillin with us...Whats poppin my nigga? How you feeling today?

Jake One: I'm good man, everything's real good man...

S1: Alright...Now you come from Seattle...You originate from Seattle right, that where you bringing your flavor from...Talk to us about that...

Jake One: Seattle is a different type of place cause we kind of far away from everything as far as like LA and NY you know...It's a different kind of vibe out here, I grew up listening to E-40 and all that type of music...

S1: Now you had the pleasure to work with 2 of my favorite artists Planet Asia on his first solo joint “The Grand Opening” and Supastition...Talk to us about that little get up...

Jake One: You know they just two spitters, they like grizzlies of the rapping...Like Asia has been doing it so long when you see him performing you just like this dude got it...He got that energy and swagger...We used to stay in the same area and we did like 15 joints together...Supa is a dude that I met thru a friend that worked with him named Leaf and I've been knowing him for a minute and I always liked the way he did his shit...And I told him one day that I'd give him something...

S1: That nigga right there is true to the game...Yo Supa if you out there we still support you and behind you nigga...One...Now uhm you know I just wanted to to put something out there you definitely from the underground but you touched major niggas too...i know that you fucked with 50 and Busta...So whats up with that baby?

Jake One: To me, I make whatever I make...Those guys are selling that shit and thats great you know what I mean cause in the end I want as many people as possible to listen to my shit ...
