Malia The Interview

Sexy Malia
S1: Yeah, yeah, yeah you know who this is!!! This is S1 from Legacy Magazine, Legacy radio, legacymag.net…You know we only bringing you the flyest, flyest honies…Urban models that’s what we like to deal with and today we have a lovely young lady starting out you know what I’m saying…Shining star, I got my homegirl Malia with me…Wassup homegirl? How you feeling today babygirl?
M: Wassup very blessed…Very, very blessed…How are you?
S1: Feeling fantastic can’t complain trying to keep busy…So talk to us about your background and how you got into modeling…
M: Well actually when I was really young I’ve always been hit up by different people even for videos stuff like that…I’ve always been blessed with the opportunity but I had my son at a young age, you know he was my priority…So I put that on hold…And then I know a lot of people in the industry and whatnot…You know they’ve always told me girl you need to do that so I just decided to run with it…So like I said, the opportunity is there to do it and I’m still young enough to do it…Eventually with my savings from modeling I’m going to have my own clothing and shoe line so I’m excited about that as well…

S1: Alright that definitely wassup…I understand that you have very interesting mix as far as heritage, what are you? Why don’t you break that down for the readers and listeners ma?
M: Alright well my father is Venezuelan, Spanish and Greek…Then my mother is Spanish and Irish, so pretty mixed background I get all kinds of shit…People be like what are you and I break it down and I get crazy shit like you look Dominican, Persian like way out shit which I’m proud of it you know what I mean, I’m very proud of my mixture…So I definitely want to bring that to the table you know what I mean I’m very proud of it…
S1: Definitely versatility and multi culturalism is absolutely nothing wrong with that especially in hip hop the more the better you know what I’m saying mama…One thing that has caught my eye, I noticed that you had taken a couple of pictures with a semi famous photographer a lot of the guys that I deal with know her or know of her, Somoya Reece…Now how did that come about working with her?

M: Actually my homeboy Akeel from Chronic Avengers, he does web design all that…he actually had her and networked with her I guess, so then I went and looked at her photography, I loved it I was feeling her whole vibe…So we linked up and made it happen…
S1: Alright that’s definitely wassup…You taking the initiative that’s very important in this business…So I understand you have a project coming up on the horizon working with Rawkus Records? Wassup with that?
M: Yeah I got some people over there and I’m going to be doing a advertisement for myrawkus.com and I’m really excited about that cause you know Rawkus is a big name and I could take that anywhere…So like I said I love hip hop, I definitely wanna represent that…I know my hip hop I’m not just a pretty girl out there that just like you know trying to floss gear and shit…I really know my shit!!!

S1: That’s definitely wassup…Any words of advice for any young ladies looking to get into the modeling industry you know and maybe looking up to you or feel that they got something similar in their background to what you got and what you have to offer…Any words to them in particular?
M: First off I got to say that it’s a lot of hard work…You gotta find people that will value you, you know what I mean and not just look at you as a piece of meat…Cause you know you get hit up by all kinds of crazy people but I’ll be quick to check them because I’m not with that…Always have self respect you know what I mean…Everybody is in the industry for different reasons and purposes…Some women are out there to show their stuff and what not…Me I’m not…I coming off with the sexy classy feel you know what I mean…But definitely have your faith and just keep doing it…It is possible if you got that look, you got the right personality you know its got to mesh, its got to link up…Find management…Right now I’m actually doing it dolo I don’t have management…I’m trying to do that as long as I can, I’ve been hit up by a lot of people but you know just follow your dreams straight up…Like if you feel that it can happen it will happen you know what I mean just keep your respect and wits about you always and always have faith in God…
S1: Alright that’s definitely wassup…Malia we appreciate the interview something tells me that your gotta a lot bright things coming up in your future you know what I’m sayin…Any last shout outs? Any websites you wanna shout out? Where can our people come and see more of you?
