The Brooklyn native has been puttin it down for more then 10 years and is still in the mix with Def Squad, Redman and the Green Eyed Bandit Eric Sermon. Keith Murray contacted us a few days ago about some beef with Prodigy that actually led to catz getting punched in the face. KM: Chillin how ya doin, what’s going on man….

S1: Chillin you know how we doin always steady grindin doin what we gotta do…But the question at hand is how you doin man, you dropped us a little tight ass track a couple of days ago you sent us you know what I’m sayin we was buggin the fuck out here in Legacy Studios listenin to that shit Toast to my man Prodigy you burned him you ripped him whas goin on man talk to us about that… that shit really intrigued us.

KM: Yeah so what happened was that the kid brought my name back up in some record. So I’m like damn I’m over here bangin my head on the wall tryin to get my shit right and then he gonna come with yeah Keith Murray he snuff me in front of Police. HE LIED!! He know damn well I didn’t snuff him in front of no police so I said aight you know what its time for me to show the world that I can crush this maggot.

S1: No doubt no doubt and just in case some of our listeners and readers don’t know…this beef has been goin on for some time it’s been ten years you’ve been fussin back and forth, right

KM: I never even said nuttin on record about that nigga he said something about me and Redman . Nigga talkin about smoking weed all the time aight cool I seen him and caught him in his fuckin face. I never made a record about it, them niggas was the one makin records, we never said nuttin on wax until now.

S1: Aight aight…that track. Is that working the mix tape circuit? Whats the deal for the track are you planning something , are you working on a CD, what are you plans whas goin on how you gonna rectify this single?

KM: I got a new mix tape comin out next week called Kickin Ass Incorporated… it’s wit L.O.D. We direct some issues like that takin it to the streets it’s ill. Then I got the Keith Murray album comin in Dec produced by Erik Sermon it’s called Beautifully Ugly. Back in that zone

S1: Who you got on that, who you gonna bring through, who’s gonna shine with you my man

KM: LL Bean, Redman, Erik Sermon produced the album , Premier, DJ Honda, the album is done like 90% I gotta get my special guest now. LL Bean, David Banner shit like that.

S1: I’m feelin, that, I’m feelin that, definitely, definitely, and on that CD that you gonna be pullin out is that when you are gonna pretty much finalize and address the situation and let everybody know whats goin on and put everybody on, right?

KM: On my album I got a tune about it, it’s called “What’s It All About?“, like how it started and shit for those that don’t know . So I’m going through the actual order of events to Erik Sermons track too.

S1: Alirght that sounds tight as hell. I have one more question for you, I know you’re a busy man but. Lets go back a few and talk to me about that night that you kinda bumped into him at the Tunnel outside. What happened yo, what popped off dawg, my niggas want to hear it from your mouth you know what I’m sayin…

KM: The niggas was in the club, I’m like look at these punky ass niggas…boom, boom, boom…the nigga was with a bunch of niggas and I wanted to see if the nigga was really hardcore. So I waited, he waited, niggas went outside, we went outside, got up at around 11th Avenue, niggas was across the street we started across the street got close up on them and snuck him up in the face. We all knew what it was all about, so there wasn’t no talkin. The nigga hit’s the ground, he jumps up and runs down the street then I chase him, when I’m comin back…. My man is beatin one his mans into the car…a cab. Police comes over like yo take it around the corner. Mind you this nigga is gone. He gets on record sayin yo he had a burna… Mothafucka burna? I didn’t see no mothafuckin burna. So then the nigga wanna try to save face like yeah you snuffed me in front of police…It wasn’t no police over there, the nigga came up when he saw his man getting beat down. Even Trigga The Gambler was like yo I saw that

S1: Yeah I heard Trigga was around there, he said, you know I saw it and he said my word is bond

KM: Now if I put a real nigga like Trigga in the middle of it you know I can’t be lyin.
